If you're a developer or someone whose mind is always buzzing with unconventional ideas, you're probably also weary of those grand narratives promising to "change the world in 48 hours."

Once, because Nanjing’s youth lacked fertile ground for genuine innovation and entrepreneurship, we founded Nanjing’s first AI hackathon, "Nanckathon," in June 2025. This gave young people in Nanjing real exposure to cutting-edge innovation and entrepreneurship, and it has now been six months.

Hackathons have redefined creation, but they shouldn’t be the end. As pioneers, we keep asking: Beyond the 48-hour thrill, what do China’s young people really need? We aim to find a truly sustainable creative path for this generation, beyond the rigid tracks of academic pressure and internal competition.

Over the past six months, our team has continuously explored, reflected, and iterated. We’ve come to realize that most projects die within 48 hours after leaving the spotlight due to a lack of real market feedback and high-quality teammates. Perhaps what we need was never just a hackathon.

Perhaps it was never just about hackathons.

We are determined to break this cycle.

What we value more is how hackathons bring real market value to product demos, help entrepreneurs find their most compatible co-founders, and generate a ripple effect.

With this in mind, we are upgrading the Nanckathon to: FluxVerse 2026.

We don’t intend to define who you are.

Whether you come from top universities or big tech companies, or have precise titles on your resume — background is merely the path you’ve taken.

Design Builders (Taste & Design)

We’re looking for someone like you:

With your own aesthetic vision: An independent, almost obsessive understanding of "taste," disdain for mediocre visual imitation and replication, and the ambition to define a new aesthetic quality in the AI era.
Experienced in design: Whether your focus is UI, graphic, or industrial design, we hope you have solid skills in visual and interactive design, proficiency with tools like Figma, and a willingness to work with us to create truly cutting-edge, natural tech visuals.
Curiosity and ownership: Possessing strong curiosity, a relentless drive to "get things done," and a deep sense of ownership. Willing to patiently refine visual boundaries and craft details, exploring and creating brand vitality.

Soulful Writers (Narrative & Logic)

We’re looking for someone like you:

A narrator at the crossroads: In your journey of growth, you’ve repeatedly questioned "where I come from and where I’m going." You’re accustomed to building a self-consistent world in your writing, have an interest in and reverence for the history of technological development, and harbor the ambition to create something "different" in the AI era.
Skilled in expression, but even more attuned to human nature: Whether you’re an amateur writer, a marketing expert, or a self-media blogger, we don’t care about titles. We simply hope you love communication and expression, have solid writing experience, and are eager to join us in telling warm, human-centered tech stories.
Curiosity and ownership: Possessing strong curiosity, a relentless drive to "get things done," and a deep sense of ownership. Not satisfied with waiting for tasks to be assigned, but actively pushing boundaries, willing to think one step further and walk one more mile than others.
